The practice was established before the 1970s and based just down the road at 28 Uppingham Road Leicester before moving to this purpose built centre in 1973.

We share this building with other community care workers, district nurses, physiotherapists and podiatrists.

We cover an area to the East of the City Centre with a practice population of around 12,000 people.

As a practice we are constantly striving to provide a better and more reliable service to our patients.

We offer a wide range of medical services including health promotion and screening with a well trained clinical and administration team to help us provide a high standard of care.

Our aim is to provide high quality, patient centred care delivered within the resources we have available.

The practice welcomes new patients who live within the practice area. To view our practice area, please visit our New Patients Page.

We hope you find this website useful, and we welcome any feedback on ways to improve the quality of care we provide.

Our service is regulated and assessed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Please feedback to CQC on care you have received from us via Give Feeback on Care. You can also call CQC on 03000 616161.

We Are Rated GOOD by the CQC – December 2025

We are delighted to share that following our recent inspection in December 2025, our practice has been rated GOOD by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England. Their inspection process looks at five key areas to determine whether services are:

Safe

Effective

Caring

Responsive

Well-led

Achieving an overall rating of GOOD reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of our entire team to providing high-quality care to our patients.

We are particularly proud of the positive feedback received regarding our patient care, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Thank you to our patients for your continued support and valuable feedback — it plays an important role in helping us maintain and improve our services.

You can read the full inspection report on the CQC website at: https://www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-572383771

We remain committed to delivering safe, compassionate and effective care to our community.
