Welcome to the East Leicester Medical Practice.
This website has been designed to help you make full use of the many services our practice has to offer. We hope you find it useful and informative.
The practice was established before the 1970's and based just down the road at
28 Uppingham Road Leicester before moving to this purpose built centre in 1973.
We share this building with other community care workers i.e. District Nurses, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists. We helped finance a significant extension to the premises in the mid 1990's and further building work since then has given us a modernised reception area and 2 new consulting rooms.
We cover an area to the East of the City Centre with a practice population of around 13100.
As a practice we are constantly striving to provide a better and more reliable service to our patients.
We offer a wide range of medical services including health promotion and screening with a well trained clinical and administration team to help us provide a high standard of care.
Our aim is to provide high quality, patient centred care deilvered within the resources we have available.
The practice welcomes new patients who live within the practice area.
We hope you find this website useful, and we welcome any feedback on ways to improve the quality of care we provide. Please click here to be directed to our e-mail address to send us your feedback.
